Ukrainian Reception
A celebration of the 60th anniversary of the erection of the Ukrainian Memorial in Mylor on 7 June 2008.
Approximately 100 people attended this convivial reception, which included a delicious buffet lunch, following a remembrance service at the memorial. There was a display of photographs and other material about the refugee camp in Mylor and Ukrainian families from all over Cornwall enjoyed meeting and swapping stories and details.
