A good crowd gathered in the Tremayne Hall at 7 pm to witness the handing over of a magnificent applique wall hanging depicting local scenes in Mylor Bridge. This was the culmination of a year's work by members of Mylor Needleworkers and it now hangs proudly in the entrance lobby of the Hall. Afterwards, there was a festive party with wine and mince pies and people were able to wander round and admire their beautifully refurbished hall.
