Raffle tickets, the hamper for the Buy-a-Brick project and the Mylor Bridge Tea Towels were popular items for sale.
A Bring and Buy sale of plants, garden tools and garden furniture was held at the Ord-Statter Pavilion on Saturday 22 April, from 2-4 pm.
A good crowd attended and the surprising sum of £600 was raised.
Many items were brought along in the morning and a fine, though chilly, day ensured that we were able to have the stalls outside. Teas, with homemade cakes were served and a raffle with generous gifts from the gardens of Burncoose, Trebah and Trewithen, among others, contributed to a successful outcome. The draw was held for the ‘Buy a Brick’ scheme and three hamper prizes were won.
We are indebted to several members of the Gardening Club who made a special effort on behalf of the Tremayne Hall Restoration Fund.
The many plants brought to sell on behalf of Tremayne Hall were snapped up by many happy villagers.
