Thanks to the generosity of Chris and Serita Perkins, this Garden Party was held at Porloe Farm .

Invitations had been sent and the marquee was soon full of people in summer evening clothes, enjoying strawberries and Champagne. This was undoubtedly the highlight of the year and we were extremely pleased to have made £1,500, which included some most generous donations.

The ‘Buy a Brick’ scheme was launched and many people bought large blocks of bricks, which gave us a good start on the long road to selling 1,000 bricks!
