Junior Disco
(29 January 2005)
A disco for the 7 to 11 age group was organised for the evening of 29 January 2005.
Two local teenagers, Tristan Thomas and George Parrott, brought their equipment and set up an impressive sound system on the stage, complete with moving coloured lights. The youngsters made a great effort with their outfits for the evening and were soon demonstrating the latest moves.
Cold drinks and light snacks were served during an interval in the disco which lasted about 2 hours.
The Hall is ideal for this sort of event as the thickness of the old walls seems to prevent the loud music from disturbing the village! As with the children’s Christmas Party, this was not intended to be a big fund-raiser, even so, a small profit of £40 was made to go toward the Tremayne Hall Restoration Fund.
